Role Description

This is a full-time remote or hybrid role for a Distribution Designer. Weekly site visits to the greater Harrisburg region are required. The Distribution Designer will be responsible for designing underground and overhead utility systems, pole replacements, service upgrades, and creating detailed construction plans. The designer will utilize advanced software to produce accurate and efficient designs. The role also involves collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure project success and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in underground and overhead electric distribution design highly preferred
• Proficiency with software including Pole Foreman, AutoCAD, Microstation, arcFM, and EFD
• Strong knowledge of construction management and engineering principles
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Associate's degree preferred
• Previous experience in the utility industry is highly desirable
• Ability to work independently and in a remote work environment
