Ampirical is seeking a Distribution Design Supervisor to lead a team of distribution designers and drafters in producing overhead and underground design deliverables. You will assign work, ensure accuracy and code compliance, and provide day-to-day technical guidance.
You will coordinate with engineers, PMs, and clients to monitor production schedules, mentor staff, and support staffing planning, while upholding client standards and safety requirements.

The Supervisor I, Distribution Design leads a team of distribution designers and drafters responsible for producing overhead and underground distribution design deliverables, including staking sheets, pole loading, framing, and construction work plans. This role assigns and reviews design work for accuracy, code compliance, and adherence to client construction standards, and provides day-to-day technical guidance and mentorship to designers. The supervisor coordinates with engineers, project managers, and clients to track design production schedules and resolve technical or workload issues, and supports staffing planning and performance management for the design team.
