Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Distribution Engineer/Designer to support a major power utility client in Grand Rapids, MI. You will perform power distribution design using DDS and leverage Crews (SAP variant) to complete work orders, with a focus on design quality and client interactions as you gain experience.

Job Title: Distribution Engineer/Designer

Job Description

In this role, you will provide support for a major power utility client by performing power distribution design work. Your primary responsibilities will involve utilizing DDS to support power distribution design tasks. Initially, you will focus on design work, with the potential to take on quality control duties after gaining experience.

Essential Skills

• Experience with utility industry standards and practices.
• Knowledge of additional FirstEnergy companies such as Ohio Edison, The Illuminating Company, and others.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
