Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Distribution Clerk to perform general warehouse duties including picking, packing, and shipping in a fast-paced environment. The role supports our global eyewear and vision care operations in a distribution center setting.

The ideal candidate has at least a High School diploma or GED, 6+ months of distribution experience, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Flexible hours and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6+ months of distribution experience.
• Excellent mathematical aptitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime.
• Ability to communicate and cooperate with DC associates.
• Ability to use material handling equipment (pallet jacks, carts, etc.).
• Ability to lift/carry up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand/walk for up to 10 hours.
• Experience in a distribution center/warehouse preferred.
• Optical knowledge and/or worked in a production environment is a plus.

Job Description

GENERAL FUNCTION

The Distribution Clerk performs general warehouse activities including but not limited to picking, packing and shipping

Major Duties And Responsibilities

• Receives incoming merchandise/product.
• Processes merchandise/product per the established procedures.
• Stocks merchandise/product to the appropriate location.
• Picks merchandise per the established procedures and replenishment schedule.
• Prepares merchandise/product for inventory accuracy
• Prepares merchandise/product for shipment.
• Completes projects as assigned by DC Supervisor and/or Manager.
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 6+ months of distribution experience
• Excellent mathematical aptitude/numerical recognition
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as requested by Supervisors/Manager
• Ability to communicate/cooperate with DC associates
• Ability to use material handling equipment (pallet jacks, carts, etc.)
• Ability to lift/carry up to 40 pounds
• Ability to work in a stand/walk position for up to 10 hours
• Ability to interact professionally with both corporate and non-corporate personnel
• Prior experience in distribution center/warehouse preferred
• Optical knowledge and/or worked in a production environment
