Job summary

Walgreens Distribution Center is seeking a Function Lead to coordinate safe, efficient daily operations within assigned areas. You will lead shift readiness, deploy labor, monitor productivity, and ensure safety and operational standards across departments as needed.

You will help train new hires, assist with KPI reporting, and troubleshoot bottlenecks to maintain throughput. Strong Excel/Outlook/Word skills and the ability to stand in a distribution center are required.

Qualifications

• Basic Excel, Outlook, and Word skills required.
• Ability to stand and work in a distribution center environment.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and efficient daily operations; lead shift readiness.
• Coordinate staffing, equipment access, and work areas.
• Participate in daily huddles and shift handoffs to review performance.
• Onboard and train new hires in the department.
• Monitor KPIs and escalate bottlenecks to leadership.
• Support data entry and accuracy for labor and productivity systems.
