Job summary

Crate and Barrel is seeking a Merchandise Handler I to support distribution center operations, including inbound/outbound shipments, order picking, packing, inventory movement, and storage with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.

You will rotate through departments, work with RF scanners and handheld devices, perform final quality checks, and assist with shipping, receiving, and replenishment. No experience required; high school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily productivity and quality goals in distribution.
• Rotate through departments to meet business needs.
• Participate in continuous improvement and training.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and report issues promptly.
• Load/unload trailers, build pallets, and stage merchandise.
• Package, label, and perform final quality checks on orders.
• Accurately pick orders using RF tech and conveyor systems.
• Verify shipments, tally discrepancies, and liaise with shipping.
