Job summary

World Electric in Florida is hiring a Distribution Manager to lead daily DC operations, including warehousing, delivery, and safety programs. You will supervise warehouse staff, drive efficiency, and partner with regional managers to align service offerings.

Qualifications

College degree or equivalent work experience required.
At least 10 years of distribution/warehouse experience in a high-volume setting.
Experience with LEAN tools and processes.
Valid Driver's License; some travel required.

Responsibilities

Manage daily distribution center operations including warehouse, transportation, material handling, inventory control, and safety.
Provide direct supervision to warehouse staff, lead warehouse staff, and supervisors.
Establish goals and guidelines to improve methods, procedures, schedules, safety and costs.
Coordinate with other Branch leaders to share best practices and drive process improvements.
Ensure timely receipt, stocking, picking and shipping of products and maintain quality control.
Provide ongoing training and development for warehouse staff and supervisors.
