The Distribution Center Manager is responsible for organizing, directing, and leading the distribution center and facility functions to a “Best in Class” status. Responsibilities also include managing associate safety and efficiently running the distribution center while achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction across multiple business channels.

What You'll Be Doing
- Ensure all facets of worker safety and health are first priority in accordance with company and OSHA policies and regulations
- Plan resources and manage all distribution center functions to achieve and maintain “best in class” distribution and logistics performance with an emphasis on overall customer experience
- Provide leadership, coaching and training to associates at all levels placing an emphasis on culture, talent evaluation and leader development
- Provide leadership and oversight for material flow functions to include production, receiving, slotting, shipping and inventory control ensuring efficient delivery of stated goals
- Manage material stocking levels, inventory variance reports and provide timely communication for noted issues
- Interpret facility metric reporting to identify areas for improvement, and develop solutions
- Provide input in planning for annual distribution center budget and capital expense requirements
- Manage warehouse activities within planned budget ensuring safety of personnel and efficient utilization of equipment and resources
- Effectively align work values with company stated goals and core values
- Provide guidance on work assignments for special projects as assigned and ensure timely completion
- Ensure work environment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards for the team and guests
- Collaborate with other internal departments and facility managers
- Foster a culture of Continuous Improvement within all aspects of the facility
- Utilize data to develop strategic plans that align with overall company objectives
What You Should Have
- Associates degree in Logistics/Supply Chain or Business Equivalent
- Minimum of five (5) years in a management position within a warehouse environment
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
- Sound experience with warehouse management software and databases – Microsoft NAV and/or D365 a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel

- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with a range of stakeholders

- Experience and understanding of Lean Warehousing processes to a level sufficient to train and coach others
