Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic at the Lordstown Distribution Center. You will maintain and repair distribution center equipment, read blueprints, and ensure safe operations.

The role involves troubleshooting HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems, with a focus on teamwork and adherence to safety standards. Hours are Friday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, and the starting pay rate is $27.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience in a maintenance environment.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing and welding.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics.
• Strong communication and adherence to safety standards (OSHA/NFPA).

Responsibilities

• Maintains safe, efficient operations of distribution center equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoots and repairs equipment related to operations and facility maintenance.
• Constructs, installs, repairs and maintains equipment.
• Reads and understands basic blueprints; performs light fabrication as needed.
• Maintains maintenance logs and documentation; works in a team environment.
