Job summary

FleetPride in Memphis is seeking a Big Parts Picker to pick large, heavy outbound freight to pick tickets, while maintaining a specific production rate.

Responsibilities include using an RF Scanner to pick orders, operating a forklift, and ensuring freight is stacked safely and within guidelines. Strong communication skills and ability to handle heavy parts are required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating RF scanners and forklifts.
• Ability to lift heavy parts (>50 lbs).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to distinguish between multiple picking quantities and case counts.

A Big Parts Picker Responsibilities

• Utilize the RF Scanner to pick orders while operating a forklift
• Assure freight is stacked safely, organized and within guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Our Successful Fleetpride Big Parts Picker Will Have

• Ability to operate a RF Scanner
• Distinguish between multiple picking quantities and case counts
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to operate a riding jack, order picker, reach trucks and sit-down forklifts

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the primary duties of this job. Typically, the associate will lift, pull and move heavy duty truck parts that might be in excess of 50 lbs.
