Job summary

Wolverine Worldwide, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Associate in Michigan to handle receiving, storing, and shipping of products within the distribution center. You will unload trailers, stock locations, pick and pack orders, and ensure accuracy and safety in daily operations.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean work area, reporting defects, and cross-training across departments to support ongoing operations and company goals.

• Pack, verify, and load finished product for shipping.
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to department Supervisor.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition while following prescribed safety regulations.
• Work consistently to meet the goals of the organization.
• Cross-train in other areas of the building and provide support to other departments.

Job description

GENERAL FUNCTION The Distribution Associate will work under direct supervision and is responsible for the accurate storing, shipping, and receiving of product to meet company standards of safety, security, and productivity.

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Receives, unloads and sorts products from trailers and distributes to appropriate location within the Distribution Center
• Stocks shelves / racking in storage or active locations
• Picks products to fill customer orders
• Packs, verifies, and loads finished product for shipping
• Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to department Supervisor
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition while following prescribed safety regulations
• Works consistently to meet the goals of the organization
• Cross-trains in other areas of the building and frequently lends support to other departments
• Performs duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies
• Performs other duties as required/assigned by Supervisor/Manager
