Distribution Associate II / Standup Forklift

Hiring a Distribution Associate to assist with warehouse distribution. The best fit is someone that has general warehouse, forklift, shipping/receiving experience. The company is a global manufacturer and distributor of climate control products for the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration markets.

Location: Orlando, FL 32808

Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour

Hours: 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM

Duties

• Able to operate powered equipment such as forklift.
• Under general supervision, performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment and finished products.
• Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition.
• Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used. Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.
• Routes materials, supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Completes written and computerized documentation.

Requirements

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Standup forklift - preferred.
• Picking, Packing, Shipping & Receiving.
• RF Scanner.
• Steel Toe Boots.
• Drug Test.
• Background Check.

Abilities

• Knows typical shipping and receiving procedures and can handle some exceptions.
• Requires basic reading, writing and numerical ability.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record may be required.
