Job summary

Bausch + Lomb in Lynchburg, Virginia is seeking a Warehouse Associate to fulfill customer orders, perform picking, packing and manifesting, and maintain inventory accuracy while following safety and quality standards.

You will work third shift (11:30 PM–7:30 AM) with an hourly rate starting at $15.00 plus $1.25 shift differential; further compensation may include incentives and comprehensive benefits for eligible U.S. employees.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of distribution or warehouse experience preferred.
• Familiarity with RF technology and forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill orders for shipment, including picking, packing and manifesting; maintain inventory throughput via putaway, replenishment and cycle count.
• Perform cabinet building: picking, receiving, building, packing and shipping of kits according to SOPs; meet productivity and quality standards.
• Keep work area clean and organized; perform daily area maintenance and housekeeping.
• Review and correct unfulfilled orders with discrepancies to resolve errors.

Objectives

As directed by the supervisor and/or group leader, perform functions to fulfill orders for shipment to customers. This may include but is not limited to customer service support, replenishment, cycle counting, picking, packing, and manifesting. The employee may be trained in any or all of the required disciplines depending on business needs. The employee must work all assigned hours and may also be required to perform other duties as directed by the supervisor and/or group leader.

Responsibilities

• Follow prioritized assignments, provide customer service support, and ensure the completion of order fulfillment (picking, packing, manifesting), maintain inventory throughput via putaway, breakdowns, replenishment, and cycle count in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding productivity and quality standards.
• Cabinet building – perform physical picking, receiving, building, packing, and shipping of fitset kits according to SOPs and as prioritized. Must meet or exceed productivity and quality standards.
• Work area cleaning – clean assigned work area on a daily basis including sweeping, dusting, trash/box disposal, general straightening, etc.
• Error review – as necessary, perform review and correction of unfulfilled orders having discrepancies to record and assign any errors.

Perform daily work assignments including, but not limited to, order fulfillment and proper maintenance of inventory in Lynchburg. Follow all security, safety, and quality standards.

Must maintain successful work relationships with Quality, Inventory Control, and Management.

• Familiar with RF technology and forklift experience a plus.

Hourly rate: $15.00 per hour plus $1.25 shift differential.

Shift hours: Third Shift (Monday‑Friday) 11:30 pm‑7:30 am.

This position may be available in the following location(s): Lynchburg, Virginia – Distribution Center.

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors.
