Job summary

Randstad is seeking a Distribution Associate for a direct-hire role in Elgin, IL. The position requires a high school diploma, forklift experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. RF scanner proficiency, safety compliance, and physical capability are essential.

Salary range is $45,000–$46,592 annually with a 2nd shift (1 PM – 9:30 PM). Benefits include a comprehensive package with medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more. Open for 30 days.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent training required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick, track, verify, and record inventory movements.
• Prints labels and affixes shipping and special labels on cartons for designated customers.
• Prepare customer orders on pallet to meet customer needs.
• Operate Sit-Down and Stand-Up Forklifts to move and store cartons on racks in warehouse.
• Verifies and examines shipments for accuracy using RF scanner.
• Moves product in and out of warehouse using First-in, First-out (FIFO) method.
• Complies with safety and quality rules and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Randstad is currently working with a Manufacturing Company in Elgin, IL. They are currently hiring Distribution Associates at their facility. This is a Direct Hire position with our client.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent training required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift experience is required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Understanding and compliance with safety rules and regulations.
• Basic math skills and interpretation of data.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
