Job summary

Safewaze is seeking a Distribution Associate to join our Distribution team in Concord, NC. You will pull, load and pack orders for delivery while ensuring accuracy and quality. The role supports cycle counts, inventory maintenance, and a yearly audit as needed.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, strong attention to detail, good time management, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. A knowledge of FedEx Ship Manager or UPS WorldShip is a plus, with a positive, safety-focused work ethic.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs. without assistance.
• Maintain at minimum 95% attendance rate (on-time for shift, advance notice for time off).
• Basic computer knowledge and warehouse software familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Pull, load and pack orders using handheld scanner based on pick tickets.
• Notify of inventory discrepancies and participate in cycle counts.
• Conduct daily/weekly inventory checks to maintain accuracy.
• Assist in annual inventory audit.
• Coordinate stock replenishment to support efficient order pulling.
• Ensure outgoing shipments are accurate and well organized.
• Maintain organized warehouse layout and safe work area.
• Engage in daily safety/ cleanliness and suggest process improvements.

WHAT THE ROLE DOES:

• Process, pick, and ship outbound materials for customers' orders using handheld scanner based on the customer pick ticket
• Notify of any inventory discrepancies and participate in cycle counts as needed or directed
• Conduct routine cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy (daily, weekly or as needed)
• Support Annual Inventory Audit
• Coordinate replenishment of stock inventory to support efficient order pulling
• Notify Supervisor or Lead on any issues that arise in equipment or process
• Inspect outgoing shipment products to ensure accuracy as directed or needed
• Maintain organized layout of products within the warehouse as directed or needed
• Engage in daily safety/organized clean up (trash, cardboard, pallets)
• Ability to suggest or engage in process improvements to make process more efficient
• Have flexibility in working hours to adjust as needed to meet business demands

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

• HS diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining accuracy in orders
• Maintain at minimum 95% attendance rate (includes being on time for shift and advance notice for time off requests)
• Basic computer knowledge, experience with FedEx Ship Manager and UPS WorldShip software preferred
• Basic knowledge of inventory control
• Possess excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to lift 60 lbs. without assistance
• Ability to stand, push, carry, squat, kneel and maneuver through a production warehouse
• Highly ethical, positive cultural addition, self-motivated
• Ability to adapt to change as Business needs change (including new technology introduction)
• Must have a valid drivers license
