Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Distribution and Material Handler and Forklift Operator to join its warehouse team in Dixon, IL. Immediate opening with overtime available, you will be integral to keeping materials organized and inventory accurate.

Your duties include operating forklifts, moving and storing materials, preparing shipments, and performing regular inventory counts in a fast-paced environment. Teamwork and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience preferred
• Forklift experience required
• Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment safely
• Pick, move, store, and transfer materials throughout the warehouse
• Pack, label, and prepare products for shipment
• Complete inventory counts and material transactions
• Inspect inbound and outbound trailers
• Ensure products are properly identified, counted, and handled with care
• Follow stock rotation procedures and maintain organized inventory
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment
• Follow GMPs, food safety, and food defense procedures
• Observe material segregation requirements
• Follow all quality standards, work instructions, and safety policies
• Assist in other warehouse areas as needed

Job Responsibilities

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and move throughout the shift

• Ability to work in a warehouse environment and perform physical labor as needed
