Job summary

UMass Memorial Health Marlborough is seeking a Distribution Aide for on-site, per diem day shifts. You will assist in receiving, storing, and issuing materials within the Materials Management department.

You will help maintain stock levels in nursing units, process routine and STAT orders, and ensure accurate inventory while keeping the warehouse clean.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license in the state of residence with a good driving record.
• Willingness to train.
• Previous stockroom/inventory experience.
• Previous healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appropriate supply levels on nursing units, including daily ordering and restocking of JIT supply carts.
• Fulfill stockroom supply requests within 24 hours for routine orders and promptly for STAT/emergency orders.
• Rotate stock to ensure oldest inventory is used first and check for expiration dates.
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse, including sweeping floors and disposing of cardboard properly.
• Assist in restocking supplies and notify supervisors of stockouts or usage changes.
