This role emphasizes solving engineering challenges at scale, enabling researchers to access data, run experiments, simulate markets, and distribute compute efficiently.

You will work on building large-scale distributed systems, data processing infrastructure, and robust production software where performance and resilience matter,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM field (CS, Math, Physics, Engineering).
• Experience building complex, scalable or distributed software systems.
• Strong programming ability, especially Python.
• C, C++, or Java backgrounds encouraged.
• Ability to reason about complex systems and make thoughtful engineering trade-offs; ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build large-scale distributed systems and research platforms used by researchers.
• Develop infrastructure for data processing, simulation, backtesting and large-scale experimentation.
• Improve speed, scalability and reliability of research workflows across datasets and compute environments.
• Design systems that help researchers move ideas from experimentation into production.
• Build robust production software where performance, correctness and resilience are critical.
