Job summary

Apple is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Satellite Communications Group. You will build, monitor, and operate large-scale distributed systems powering satellite connectivity for critical services.

You will contribute to architecture design and cloud infrastructure as code, enabling end-to-end provisioning, monitoring, and deployment with a no-ops culture while scaling to global users and devices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years software engineering or DevOps experience.
• Proficient in Python, Go, Rust or C++.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong Linux/UNIX administration and monitoring.
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with zero-downtime deployments and event-based messaging.
• Able to learn new technologies quickly.
• Strong operational and troubleshooting skills.
