Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Research Engineer, Distributed Data Systems, to design and scale the infrastructure powering large-scale multimodal training and evaluation. You will manage distributed data pipelines, collaborate with researchers to translate requirements into production-ready systems, and harden critical infrastructure to support rapid iteration cycles.

This position is based in San Francisco with a hybrid work model (3 days in the office per week) and relocation assistance for new hires.
