Job summary

Q Investments is seeking an analyst to join its Fort Worth investment team. You will own coverage of high-yield and leveraged loan names and collaborate with senior PMs on live positions across private and public markets credits.

You will learn an alpha-generating HY process, apply a relative-value framework, and help generate ideas while conducting primary diligence via meetings, lender calls, and expert networks. You’ll shape AI tooling and engage with other strategies of the family office.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience with top I-banking, PE, Hedge Fund or Consulting Firm.
• Bachelor’s Degree with excellent academic credentials.

This individual will work with a team of other investment professionals which handle both our private and public markets credit-related investments.

• Own primary coverage of names across the high-yield and leveraged loan universe, working directly with senior PMs on live positions
• Learn a time-tested alpha generative process within HY Credit
• Deploy relative-value framework to decide what to buy and sell, and improve the screening and monitoring processes behind it
• Generate new investment ideas along with senior PMs
• Conduct primary diligence — management meetings, lender calls, expert networks, channel checks
• Design AI agents that compress diligence work that used to take days; you'll be a primary user and shaper of the tooling, not a coder
• Engage across other investment strategies and business initiatives of the Q family office

Requirements
