Metis Search is working with a Credit Fund in New York seeking an Analyst with about 3–5 years of experience to join its investment team.

You will conduct detailed analysis of event-driven investments and evaluate distressed and special situations, with potential regulatory catalysts, providing investment recommendations to the Investment Committee and collaborating with portfolio managers, traders and analysts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience covering distressed debt.
• Recent buy-side experience preferred.
• A track record of generating high-performing investment recommendations.
• Exposure to workout/restructuring situations a benefit.

We are currently working with an Credit Fund that are looking to expand their investment team. The fund takes a fundamental approach investing across the capital structure. They are looking for an Analyst with c.3 - 5 years of experience to join the team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed analysis of event driven investments.
• Experience looking at distressed and special situations, ideally with a legal or regulatory catalyst.
• Provide investment recommendation to the IC.
• Work closely with the wider team, portfolio managers, traders and analyst on the investment process.
• Support the team on monitoring the portfolio.

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience covering distressed debt. Ideally from an event driven perspective.
• Recent experience on the buy side preferred.
• A track record of generating high performing investment recommendations.
• Exposure to workout/restructuring situations a benefit.
