About the Job

Sanofi is seeking an innovative, collaborative, and experienced preclinical cardiovascular safety expert to work with our Research and Development teams. The role involves managing cardiovascular safety issues and advancing therapeutics to registration, requiring extensive scientific and regulatory knowledge in cardiovascular safety, safety pharmacology, and toxicology.

Main Responsibilities
  • Serve as an authority within Preclinical Safety for cardiovascular safety questions and strategies.
  • Lead and execute strategies to manage cardiovascular safety risks.
  • Develop assays and tools to assess drug impact on cardiovascular function.
  • Mentor project team members and colleagues on cardiovascular safety and regulatory matters.
  • Contribute to white papers and regulatory documents.
  • Participate in external consortia and symposia to influence industry and regulatory standards.
  • Author scientific presentations and manuscripts.
About You

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • PhD in pharmacology, toxicology, or related field with 12+ years of industry experience.
  • Deep knowledge of regulatory safety requirements; experience with biological modalities is a plus.
  • Proven scientific leadership and excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; available to start in 3Q2025.

Location & Additional Information
