Job summary

Grainger is hiring for a Distribution Center Associate to work onsite in Colorado. The role focuses on maintaining inventory integrity, processing orders, and safely handling packing, staging, and shipping tasks within a fast-paced warehouse.

You will report to a DC Supervisor and participate in inbound/outbound activities while meeting safety, productivity, and quality targets. The position offers hourly pay starting at $22.15 with raises to $23.35, plus bonuses for PIE operators and overnight

Compensation

This position is hourly. Pay starts at $22.15/hour [with three raises in 12 months bringing your pay to $23.35/hour]

• + $1/hour for powered industrial equipment (PIE) operators**
• $1/hour for working overnight shift

The Distribution Center Associate performs warehouse responsibilities and functions to support inventory integrity, order processing - picking, packing, staging, shipping, general maintenance and housekeeping responsibilities to guarantee a safe and clean work environment. Ensure compliance with safety requirements by performing inspections and maintenance. You will role report directly to a DC Supervisor or Process Manager and have regular interaction with other DC Associates.

Shift:

You Will

• Safely complete inbound and/or outbound warehouse tasks with strong attention to detail. For example, unloading, sorting, labeling, replenishing, auditing, and packing products
• Ensure products are shipped correctly to exceed customers' expectations for quality and delivery speed
• Meet safety, quality, productivity, behavior, attendance, and overtime requirements as needed
• Operate computerized scanning equipment and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and Hazardous Material requirements
• Perform other tasks as directed by leadership

You Have

• Comfort working on your feet with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and dust while working around moving equipment and elevated stations
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to frequently lift, slide and lower packages up to 75 pounds
• Ability to receive feedback and work well in a team environment
• **For PIE operators: ability to operate warehouse vehicles, material handling equipment and powered industrial equipment, including Crown, Pacer, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Barrett and Turret Truck
