Apple Inc. is seeking a candidate in display hardware development and validation for next-generation products and future display technology research.

The role involves managing new display technology development, validating system designs, and driving from design to final product through cross-functional collaboration and supplier interaction. Qualifications

3+ years of experience in display hardware development, validation, or research in optics or photonics.
1-2 expertise subsets of optics, physics, electrical engineering, optical components, image processing, machine learning, or computer science.
Willingness and ability to travel overseas.

Responsibilities

Define overall optical and module architecture and requirements, and drive a rigorous validation plan to meet display performance targets.
Identify critical metrics impacting display performance, analyze experimental and build data, and present findings to management.
Lead failure analysis and corrective actions, communicating risks and trade-offs to the team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive display module design convergence and deliver the product.
Investigate new display technologies, perform trade-off studies, and explore approaches to enhance performance.
