Job summary

Bangor Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) in Bangor, ME is seeking an RN Dispensing Nurse for our outpatient opioid treatment program. The role focuses on compassionate, professional care, medication dispensing, vital signs, and patient education within a safe clinical team.

You will work under supervision to ensure accurate reporting, documentation, and adherence to DEA, FDA, and HIPAA standards, with a schedule of early mornings Monday through Friday and some Saturdays.

Qualifications

• RN degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in Maine.
• CPR certification may be required by state regulation.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision of Nursing Supervisor, Medical Director, and Clinic Director.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered promptly and accurately.
• Document medication administration and nursing care in patient records.
• Maintain inventory and safekeeping of medication stock per DEA, FDA, and regulations.
• Dedicate ~90% of time to medication administration; remaining duties as assigned.
• Conduct urine and/or blood samples, read results, complete intake assessments, monitor patient outcomes.
• Complete all related documentation per clinic standards.
• May transport medication or work on a CTC Mobile Unit.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
