Job summary

Health Care Resource Centers in Maine is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to dispense medications as part of a treatment team. You will work with physicians and supervisors to ensure accurate dispensing, maintain equipment, and manage inventory in a compliant setting.

The role requires a current Maine LPN license and CPR certification; experience with EMR and in chemical dependency is preferred. A detailed orientation and records maintenance are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Current & good standing LPN license in the State of Maine.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Experience in chemical dependency preferred.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
• EMR proficiency desirable.

Responsibilities

• Administer daily medication to patients per policy and protocols.
• Use automated dispensing systems; calibrate pumps and maintain equipment.
• Maintain records and reports per company protocol and regulations.
• Ensure security standards for distribution and storage of controlled substances.
• Order, receive and stock medication per DEA/state regulations.
• Provide daily assessment of patients.
• Assist Nursing Supervisor to orient new nursing staff.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
