Job summary

iAnthus Capital Management seeks a Dispensary Lead in North Orlando, FL to drive patient-first service and overall sales at a high-volume cannabis dispensary.

You will manage daily operations, support patients, and lead a team to ensure compliance and excellent customer experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Recent hospitality/retail experience required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• 2+ years customer service.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Positive and professional attitude.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies and systems.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment of 'Patients First' focusing on patient interaction.
• Recognize and respond to patients with care and compassion.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Multi-task, think critically and resolve problems quickly.
• Process patient orders based on physician recommendations and adjust OM MUR entries.
• Stay current with company policies and procedures.
• Open or close the dispensary as a key holder.
• Balance cash and inventory during daily closing.
• Support patient services during consultations and sales.
• Maintain accountability of team members per job description.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.

Position Summary:

As a Dispensary Lead, you hold a central position in the dispensary’s operations. Your role encompasses various responsibilities aimed at ensuring a positive and efficient experience for medical cannabis patients and adult-use customers. You will serve as a key point of contact, offering assistance, answering queries, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Beyond customer interactions, the Dispensary Lead actively contributes to the dispensary’s overall sales success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create an environment of "Patients First" focusing on excellent patient interaction
• Recognize and appropriately respond to the patients with ease and compassion
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality with patient information and interactions
• Multi-task, think critically and work quickly to resolve problems as they arise
• Create and execute patient orders based on physician recommendations and accurately deduct the amount from the Office of Medical Marijuana Use Registry (OMMUR)
• Keep current with company policies and procedures
• Responsible for either opening or closing of dispensary (key holder)
• Balance cash and product inventory as part of daily closing procedure
• Observing and participating in patient services during consultation and sale
• Maintain accountability of all team members, in relation to specific job description
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Recent and relevant hospitality and/or retail experience required
• Must have reliable transportation
• 2+ year customer service
• Strong customer service skills
• Must possess a positive and professional attitude
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies and systems
• Ganjier or Green Flower Certificate preferred

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience in hospitality service and/or high-volume retail environment
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
• 1-3 years in a retail environment managing a team
• Knowledge of local and state laws and regulations pertaining to medical marijuana, a plus
• Experience working with Excel, POS, and inventory management control systems
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Starting Pay Rate: $18/hr
