Qualifications

• Experience in highly regulated environments preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; equivalent experience considered.
• Retail experience with cash handling and POS systems.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience in the medical cannabis industry is a plus, but not required.
• Must be 21+ and able to pass a criminal background check.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive mindset with a strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
• Ability to think critically, solve problems, and lead with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front by exceeding personal sales and KPI goals while motivating the team.
• Partner with the Dispensary Manager and Assistant Manager to execute business initiatives.
• Identify training and development opportunities for Wellness Associates.
• Deliver patient-first customer service in alignment with company standards.
• Build relationships with patients, vendors, service providers, and team members.
• Address patient questions and concerns promptly and professionally; escalate when appropriate.
• Recommend and help patients select appropriate medical cannabis products based on needs and physician recommendations.
• Explain effects, benefits, and differences of cannabis products clearly.
• Accurately process transactions using the POS system and handle cash responsibly.
• Ensure strict adherence to security, compliance, and asset protection procedures.
• Set up, maintain, and break down product displays daily.
• Assist with inventory processing, replenishment, floor stock monitoring, and cycle counts.
• Perform data entry and manage patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Dispense medical cannabis in compliance with the Florida Medical Marijuana Use Registry.
• Answer incoming calls and route them appropriately.
• Maintain educational materials, new patient folders, and store resources.
• Keep the dispensary clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
• Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
