Bucks County is seeking a Dispatcher Trainee to begin the Department of Emergency Communications telecommunicator training program and become a permanent Dispatcher I. The role focuses on completing required training modules to meet local, state, and national standards for public safety communications center personnel.
The trainee will complete APCO Basic Telecommunicator, EMD, CPR, HazMat, IS-700/IS-100, and other FEMA modules, document testing, and progress to Dispatcher I upon successful
Receives instruction and fulfills the training requirements regarding public safety communication to qualify for a permanent position as a Dispatcher I. The primary goal is to successfully complete the Department of Emergency Communications telecommunicator training program to become compliant with current local, state and national standards of care for public safety communications center personnel.
