Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC is seeking a Transportation Dispatcher in Groveport, Ohio to coordinate driver assignments and ensure client commitments are met. You will dispatch drivers, respond to driver calls, and maintain shipment paperwork while ensuring DOT compliance.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma, 1–3 years related experience, and a proven ability to work accurately under pressure. Strong data entry and math skills are valued, with physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 to 3 years, related experience.
• Minimum 1 year of industry experience preferred.
• Certifications & Licenses may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Client needs and commitments are met.
• Dispatch drivers and respond to Drivers calls.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
• Notify drivers of assignments and direct their activities to ensure cargo is picked up and delivered.
• Maintain information on shipments and ensures proper paperwork required.
• Update data base on all dispatched move.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment
• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
• Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.
