Cooper Electric Supply, LLC. is seeking a driven dispatcher to coordinate drivers, routes, and deliveries. The role supports customers and internal teams to ensure on-time performance and accurate logs.

You will work in a busy environment with daily shifts and yard activity. Successful candidates will manage multiple priorities, use dispatch software, and communicate clearly with drivers and customers while maintaining detailed records.

Qualifications

• Experience with dispatch software systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interpret scheduling instructions and follow written directions.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch and schedule both CDL and non-CDL drivers.
• Communicate with customers regarding deliveries and service issues.
• Analyze routes and review driver logs.
• Resolve delivery issues through coordination with drivers and teams.
• Print and distribute daily manifests.
• Direct vehicle movement within the yard.
• Assess truck capacity and suggest delivery alternatives.
• Coordinate vehicle repairs and report equipment issues.
• Provide shift handoff reports for smooth transitions.
• Escalate driver concerns to leadership as needed.
• Collaborate with operations to troubleshoot during shifts.
• Review orders and routes to prevent problems.
