Job summary

84 Lumber is seeking a delivery logistics coordinator in Lubbock, TX. The role coordinates delivery logistics between management, sales and the yard, routing loads and planning delivery times to meet customer needs.

You will help build loads, handle freight, and assist in maintaining delivery records. The position requires handling up to 80 pounds, and workweek is Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

This position coordinates delivery logistics between management, sales, and the yard. Group and route deliveries of loads according to designed geographic areas are done frequently. This position also assists in the building of loads and freight handling as necessary.

• Call clients to confirm all details and serve as liaison between sales and the crews
• Coordinate delivery times and total hours for load building, checking and staging
• Schedule routing of area/market delivery equipment to reduce delivery expense & increase efficiency
• Prepare delivery analyses to improve delivery efficiency
• Maintain accurate records of all deliveries
• Utilize various companywide systems including Invoicing, POS, and Inventory
• Be able to periodically lift up to 80 pounds
