Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Nuclear Pharmacy delivery professional in Denver to provide radiopharmaceuticals and related drugs to medical care providers under strict state and federal guidelines. You will consult with physicians and nuclear technologists on safe and efficacious use of radioactive drugs for diagnosis and therapy.

Responsibilities include delivering radiopharmaceuticals, preparing doses for shipment, loading/unloading, and ensuring DOT safety standards on the assigned route.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and have a good driving record.
• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle.
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Package radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment and load/unload containers.
• Assigns delivery routes to drivers and makes adjustments as needed.
• Perform quality control checks as trained.
• Process incoming packages for pharmacy use.
• Perform equipment checks for daily use.
• Prepare and deliver to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-CDL).
• Use a handheld tablet to scan orders, obtain route stop information and navigation.
• Process packages returned from customer locations.
• Maintain vehicles in proper working condition and perform minor roadside repairs.
• Perform general facility cleaning and other duties as required.

Shift/Schedule Monday-Friday from 12:30am-9am.

At least 2 holidays a year required to work.

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health

Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).
