Job summary

Cooper Electric Supply, LLC in Cranbury, NJ is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to schedule and coordinate both CDL and non-CDL drivers. You will communicate with customers about deliveries and service issues, analyze routes, and maintain accurate records.

We offer hourly pay of $26.00–$28.00, Monday–Friday, with full-time benefits and growth within the Sonepar group. Bilingual English/Spanish and strong organizational and software skills are required.

• Proficiency in computer applications and dispatch-related systems.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch and schedule both CDL and non-CDL drivers.
• Communicate with customers regarding deliveries, special handling requests, and service-related issues.
• Analyze routes, review driver logs, and maintain accurate records.
• Resolve delivery issues through regular communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
• Print and distribute daily manifests.
• Direct the movement and positioning of trucks and trailers within the yard.
• Assess truck capacity and identify alternative delivery solutions when needed.
• Coordinate vehicle repairs and communicate equipment-related issues.
• Provide detailed shift handoff reports to ensure seamless transition between teams.
• Escalate driver concerns or performance issues to leadership as appropriate.
• Partner with the operations team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues during the shift.
• Review orders and routes proactively to identify and correct potential problems.

Compensation

Salary Range: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour

Location: Cranbury, NJ

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm.
