Pick-n-Pull Auto and Truck Dismantlers is seeking a Dispatcher in Tacoma, Washington. This role involves scheduling and managing drivers for the transportation of materials and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Ideal candidates will have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience and familiarity with DOT regulations.
You will be responsible for communicating with drivers, addressing service requests, and monitoring equipment needs. The role also requires occasional physical activities and interaction with various stakeholders.
The Dispatcher reports to the Regional Logistics Manager. The Dispatcher is responsible for scheduling and transmitting drivers and equipment for transportation of materials, freight, service, or emergency repairs while ensuring that all of his/her efforts are compliant with the company Health, Safety, and Environmental standards at multiple facilities. Duties may include using radio, telephone, or computer to transmit assignments and compile statistics and reports on work progress.
This position operates under flexible parameters. The primary goal of this position is to achieve excellence in all facets of the position. Providing the highest quality product safely, effectively and efficiently decreases accidents and errors and increase profits.
Salary Range: $26.50 - $30.00 Hourly
