Job summary

Papa John's is hiring for a Transportation Dispatcher at our Louisville, KY Quality Control Center. The role involves coordinating contractor and driver activities, managing freight flows, and planning routes to ensure timely deliveries.

You will work closely with CDL Class A drivers and transportation leadership. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of transportation/dispatch experience, strong communication, and proficient Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Transportation/Dispatch experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Problem solving with strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to work a non-traditional schedule.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating contractor and driver activities
• Managing inbound and outbound freight flow
• Planning and implementing delivery routes for drivers
• Effective communication with terminal operations personnel to build strong connectivity between terminal and corporate operations
• Management of internal operating procedures
• Processing multiple calls simultaneously from internal as well as external customers
• Ownership of all communication regarding changes that impact internal and external customers
• Various reports on production, quality, timeliness, staffing, maintenance, and discrepancies
• Other tasks delegated by the Supervisor and/or Transportation Manager

This position will work closely with the Transportation leadership team and all CDL Class A Drivers.
