Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring Security Officers/Guards to patrol client sites and provide excellent customer service. The role emphasizes safety, reporting, and adherence to site instructions.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, are able to perform physical requirements, and may receive CPR/first aid training. Training and background checks are provided as part of the onboarding process.

• Strong technology skills (cell phone/computer).
• Prior security/customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Additional physical requirements of the security officer/guard may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

Qualities and Requirements

• CPR, first aid/AED, BLS preferred, provided if not
• Schedule to include 2nd shift hours
• Must have excellent Customer Service skills
• Security positions require you pass our drug screen and background check
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard
• Security Positions are Full and Part Time

They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
