Job summary

Cardinal Health's Pharmacy Services & Delivery team seeks a delivery-oriented individual in Chattanooga, TN to support radiopharmaceutical and oncology pharmaceutical distribution. The role involves overnight/early shifts, weekend and on-call rotations, and a starting pay of $20.00 per hour.

You will assign routes, process packages, perform equipment checks, and deliver to customer accounts. A valid driver's license and 18+ years old are required, with potential for overtime based on business

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience preferred.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate a vehicle for extended periods.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assigns delivery routes to drivers and makes adjustments as needed.
• Processes incoming packages for pharmacy use.
• Performs equipment checks for daily use and quality control testing.
• Delivers to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-CDL).
• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment and loads/unloads containers.
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan orders, obtain route info and navigation.
• Maintains vehicles and performs minor roadside repairs as needed.
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as needed.

Job description

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health

Pharmacy Services & Delivery is responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Schedule

• 40 hours per week.
• Typical schedule will be Monday-Friday 1:00am-9:00am
• Will also work in holiday, weekend, and on-call rotations
• Candidate may be flexible to work different days, schedules, hours or overtime based on business needs

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience preferred
• 2-4 years of experience, preferred
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Past dispatching experience a plus
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• Ability to lift and manage weight up to 75 pounds
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• May require vendor credentialing
• Flexibility to work various shifts or overtime as needed
