Job summary

Topgolf in Akron, OH is seeking a dependable dishwasher to support the culinary team in a fast-paced kitchen. You will wash dishes, maintain cleanliness, and ensure safe, organized storage of utensils and cookware.

Ideal candidates are able to stand for long periods, lift heavy trays, follow sanitation guidelines, and work well with others to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent may be preferred.
• Experience as a dishwasher or similar role is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
• Store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas.
• Maintain clean and orderly kitchen work areas and utensils.
• Sweep and mop floors, manage trash, and ensure safety in the kitchen area.
• Sort and remove trash to designated pickup areas.
• Assist with unloading and storing deliveries.
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the culinary team or supervisor.

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in designated storage areas.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Sweep and mop floors, empty trash, and ensure cleanliness and safety in the kitchen area.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation regulations and food safety guidelines.
• Assist with unloading and storing deliveries.
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the culinary team or supervisor.

Critical Skills & Experience Requirements

• No specific educational requirements; a high school diploma or equivalent may be preferred.
• Proven experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding kitchen environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy trays or dish racks.
• Basic knowledge of sanitation regulations and food safety standards.
