Manthey Hospitality is seeking a part-time dishwasher to maintain sanitation aboard Yacht StarShip Clearwater. Join a team delivering unique dining cruises and events on the water.

The role requires experience in restaurant dishwashing, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility for variable shifts including evenings and weekends. Health benefits and crew discounts accompany the position.

Qualificações

• Experience as a restaurant dishwasher required.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfortable working aboard vessels in tight spaces and dynamic environments.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as needed.
• Ability to work onboard for 2–5 hour cruises; occasional extended shifts up to 12 hours.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized dish room and galley areas.
• Collect, rinse, and properly rack dishware, glassware, utensils, and cookware.
• Operate dish machines safely and according to procedure.
• Wash and sanitize pots, pans, and large equipment using a 3-compartment sink.
• Inspect all cleaned items for sanitation and proper storage readiness.
• Monitor and replace chemical containers; ensure proper chemical levels.
• Keep galley floors and workspaces clean through sweeping, mopping, trash removal.
• Assist with cleaning dry storage and other galley areas.
• Receive and store food and non-food supplies using FIFO practices.
• Follow all health department and maritime sanitation standards.
• Participate in safety drills; follow all vessel safety protocols.
• Communicate professionally and support overall vessel operations as needed.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

• Basic knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures preferred
• Previous experience as a restaurant dishwasher required
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable working aboard vessels in tight spaces and dynamic environments
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as needed

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing and working in a kitchen.
• Must be able to lift, balance and carry products weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to work aboard a boat that is away from dock for several hours at a time.
• Exposure to extreme heat, steam and cold present in a kitchen environment.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, and wipe frequently.
• Must frequently immerse hands in water.
• Must be able to work in a hot and damp environment.
