Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a part-time weekend Dishwasher to support dining room operations in our senior living community. You will help maintain a clean dining environment and assist servers and kitchen staff to ensure a positive dining experience for residents.

No prior experience is required, and a friendly, customer-service oriented attitude is valued. The role offers opportunities to grow within a supportive team and environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is a plus, but not required.
• No experience necessary – entry-level welcome.
• Hospitality or dining experience is a plus.
• Positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication with seniors.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs.

Position Summary

The Dishwasher plays a vital role in creating a positive dining experience for our residents by ensuring a clean dining room environment. This team member supports the servers and kitchen staff by maintaining cleanliness and order in the dining areas of our senior living community.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of the dining room, including floors and service stations.
• Clean dishes in a timely and restock service stations
• Operate commercial dishwashing machines properly and safely
• Support overall dining room operations and communicate resident needs to servers or supervisors.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Provide friendly and respectful service to all residents, guests, and staff.

Requirements

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

Education And Certificates

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is a plus, but not required.

Experience, Competencies, And Skills

• Previous experience in a hospitality or dining environment is a plus.

Salary Description

$18.00 - $19.00 /hr.
