Job summary

Paul’s Run Retirement Community in Northeast Philadelphia is seeking a Part-Time Utility Aide/Dishwasher to join our enthusiastic team. You will be responsible for the cleanliness of pots, pans, floors, work surfaces, dishes, etc., while maintaining strict sanitation standards and operating the dish machine.

The shifts run 4:00pm-7:30pm, 3–4 days a week including every other weekend. A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the cleanliness of pots, pans, floors, work surfaces and dishes.
• Maintain sanitation by washing, rinsing and sanitizing in the pot sink.
• Use sanitizer to clean work surfaces and operate dish machine.
• Record temperatures and keep area clean and organized.
• Mop floors and keep carts and trash areas tidy.
• Distribute food carts and maintain their cleanliness.
• Take out trash and clean trash cans as required.

Key job responsibilities include:

• Responsible for the cleanliness of pots, pans, floors, work surfaces, dishes, etc., as assigned.
• Responsible for practicing good sanitation practices such as wash, rinse, sanitize in the pot sink.
• Use sanitizer to clean work surfaces.
• Operate dish machine, record temperatures, keep area clean and organized.
• Mop floors using chemicals and procedures as outlined on the flow sheet.
• Distribute food carts to the floors within five minutes and maintain their cleanliness.
• Take out trash and clean trash cans three times per shift and as requested.

Shift/Schedule available:

• Part-Time - 4:00pm-7:30pm 3-4 days a week including every other weekend

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
