Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Dishwasher to join our kitchen team in Bluffton, SC. You will be responsible for keeping all dishes, pots, pans, glasses, and utensils clean and sanitized, while maintaining the dishwashing station and related areas.

You will also report equipment issues and help with light maintenance as needed. We value reliability, a positive attitude, and adherence to safety and sanitation practices.

Qualifications

• Understands basic sanitation and hygiene standards.
• Able to follow safety procedures around cleaning chemicals.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all dishes, pots, pans, glassware, and utensils.
• Keep dishwashing station and sinks clean and organized.
• Ensure equipment is clean and in working order; report issues to management.
• Assist with light maintenance and custodial tasks as needed.
• Provide courteous service and a positive attitude to guests and teammates.

Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized
• Maintains dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas cleaned
• Ensures equipment is clean and in working condition; reports any issues to management
• Performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
• Ensures security of company assets
