Qualifications

• Prior experience operating a dish machine and following sanitation standards is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dish areas and kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses the dishwashing machine as assigned.
• Washes pots, pans and trays and ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using appropriate methods and maintains cleanliness.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and complies with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation rules.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and handles waste disposal per procedure.
