Job summary

A local restaurant group is looking for a Dishwasher to ensure cleanliness in the kitchen. The ideal candidate must have reliable transportation and be physically capable of standing for prolonged periods and lifting heavy items. This position offers between $14 to $16 an hour for 4 to 6 evenings a week, along with dining discounts and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation arrangements.
• Physically able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop as needed.
• Able to work effectively while standing for up to 10 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Use and monitor the Dishwashing Machine properly.
• Keep all areas supplied with clean and sanitized items.
• Bag and remove wastes and trash properly throughout the shift.
• Maintain a clean work area and assist culinary preparations as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Use and monitor the Dishwashing Machine properly at all times.
• Keep all areas supplied with clean and sanitized plates, glasses, utensils and cooking equipment.
• Bag and remove wastes and trash properly throughout the shift.
• Keep the dish and prep areas clean throughout the shift.
• Keep the garbage cans/dumpster clean.
• Carry, stack, store and clean plates, glassware and utensils properly. Avoid unnecessary breakage, and do not carelessly throw small wares in the trash.
• Maintain a clean workplace and floor and address spills immediately.
• Works as a team at all times with the other members of the BOH staff and assists others whenever possible.
• Contribute to a positive, productive working environment for all team members at all times by maintaining a happy professional attitude while at work.
• Assist with culinary preparations as needed.

Qualification

• Must be able to commute to Alpharetta, GA
• Must be physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoop as needed.
• Must be able to work effectively while standing for up to 10 hours per day.
• Must be able to safely lift bags, cases and dish racks weighing up to 60 pounds up to 30 times per shift.
