Pyramid Global Hospitality, owner of Chaminade Resort & Spa in Santa Cruz, CA, invites you to join our kitchen team as a Steward. You will support culinary and food service operations, maintain cleanliness, and be part of the heart of the house.

Responsibilities

• Interact with team members and maintain a positive work environment.
• Maintain a daily sanitation log for dish machine and pot wash.
• Keep work areas clean and ready and flag items not ready.
• Lead green initiatives by recycling cardboard with the compactor.
• Turn off lights, conserve water, and report leaks to a supervisor.
• Ensure safety by watching high-traffic areas to prevent slips and falls.
• Clean and sanitize equipment during slow times.
• Learn different tasks within the kitchen and develop new skills.
• Be part of a team and assist in other areas when needed.
• Provide genuine engagement with guests and crew with a smile.
