Pyramid Global Hospitality is hiring a Steward (Dishwasher) at Costa d'Este Beach Resort & Spa in Vero Beach, FL. The role focuses on sanitation, cleanliness, and efficient dish operation in a high-volume resort kitchen.

You will wash, restock, and assist with basic kitchen tasks while adhering to health, safety, and HACCP standards in a vibrant resort environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and load dishware into commercial machines; hand-wash oversized pots and pans.
• Restock clean plates, utensils, and equipment to stations quickly.
• Sweep, mop, and scrub kitchen floors, dispose waste and recyclables.
• Monitor water temperatures and chemical levels; report issues promptly.
• Assist culinary staff with basic cleaning and prep area maintenance.

The resort's stunning location, luxurious accommodations, and endless amenities make it a popular destination for couples, families, and groups of friends.What you will have an opportunity to do:The Steward (Dishwasher) maintains sanitation and cleanliness by operating large industrial dish machines, manually scrubbing cookware, restocking service areas, and managing waste disposal in a high-volume hospitality environment.What are we looking for?Washing & Sanitizing: Scrape, rinse, and load dishware, glassware, and silverware into commercial machines; hand-wash oversized pots, pans, and delicate items.Restocking: Sort and return clean plates, utensils, and equipment to designated kitchen and dining room service stations quickly.Kitchen Sanitation: Sweep, mop, and scrub kitchen floors, empty trash and recyclables, and clean dish pits or back-dock areas.Machine Maintenance: Monitor water temperatures, chemical levels, and cleanliness of dish machines, reporting mechanical issues right away.Team Support: Assist culinary staff with basic kitchen cleaning, deep-cleaning projects, or prep area maintenance when needed.Requirements:Physical Stamina: Stand for long shifts, bend frequently, and lift up to 50 pounds.Environment: Tolerate hot, humid, and loud backstage kitchen settings.Availability: Work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays common at resort properties.Standards: Follow strict health department safety, hygiene, and HACCP guidelines.Compensation:-Pyramid Global Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
