Job summary

HVMG - Hospitality Ventures Management Group seeks a dedicated Dishwasher/Steward to keep our hotel kitchenware and work areas impeccably clean while supporting the culinary team.

You will wash dishes, maintain sanitation, and assist with basic food prep as needed, reporting to the Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef. A warm, professional demeanor and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read product labels and communicate with guests about job-related needs.
• Hotel experience is a plus and a combination of education and experience is acceptable.
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Dishwasher/Steward

As a Dishwasher/Steward, you will ensure the cleanliness and organization of all kitchenware, equipment, and work areas. You’ll support the culinary team by maintaining sanitation standards and assisting with basic kitchen tasks as needed. This role is essential to smooth kitchen operations and requires reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

• You will be the dish pit hero of our hotel's kitchen, ensuring a clean and organized workspace that enables our culinary team to shine.
• Your daily tasks will include washing dishes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and assisting with basic food preparation as needed.
• You will report to the Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef.
• A career as a dishwasher/steward can lead to opportunities in various roles within the hospitality industry, such as line cook, prep cook, or even kitchen management positions.

Education & Experience

Hotel experience is always a plus! Applicants should have:
