Job summary

State Farm Arena in Atlanta, operated by Levy Restaurants and part of Compass Group USA, is seeking a Culinary Dishwasher. The role is part-time with evening and overnight shifts, and the pay rate is $16.50 per hour (not tipped).

You will maintain cleanliness and order in the dish area and support the kitchen team throughout busy service periods. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in food service, the ability to work fast-paced environments, and a commitment to sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.
• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses dishwasher equipment as assigned.
• Washes pots, pans and trays; polishes silver; ensures safety and sanitation standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and complies with safety standards.
• Transports supplies between storage and work areas and assists with loading/unloading.

Requirements:The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of food service experience. Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen enviornment and stand for long periods of time. Reliable, punctual, and able to follow cleaning and sanitation procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen is a plus, but not required
• Understanding of basic sanitation and safety standards
• Willingness to take direction and assist with kitchen cleaning tasks
• Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods of time throughout the day.
• Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds

Summary: Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment. Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures. Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedures. Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Helps load and unload supplies and product.
